Aamer leads McKinsey’s Technology Practice globally, empowering enterprise technology leaders to rewire their organizations to run, build, and win like the best-performing technology companies. As chair of McKinsey’s Knowledge Council, he identifies and develops perspectives on major business, technology, and economic discontinuities that will impact CEO and Board agendas in the coming years. He is also a member of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI) Council, where he advises and contributes to the MGI research agenda, with a particular focus on emerging technologies.

With nearly three decades of experience, Aamer has a proven track record of delivering growth, productivity, and organizational capabilities to enhance competitiveness. He is particularly passionate about elevating the role of technology leadership in enterprises and collaborating with clients to develop and scale their services and software businesses.
