Alberto is a partner in McKinsey’s Atlanta office, a core member of McKinsey’s Operations Practice, and the coleader of digital warehousing for our deliver sector in North America.
In more than 20 years of management consulting, he has counseled leading global clients across a wide range of industries in supply chain operations challenges—mainly across planning, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution—by identifying and deploying operations performance improvement solutions, digital, data, and analytics, and ensuring that the impact of both domestic and international solutions reach full adoption and scaling.
Alberto has served and is a trusted advisor to many clients specially in consumer goods, food and beverage, consumer health, retail, pharmaceutical, and private equity across North America, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Middle East.
Alberto specializes in warehousing, logistics, and distribution, including technology and automation, where he is a thought leader and has offered expert guidance and helped executives successfully navigate the latest supply chain disruptions, build supply chain resilience, and stay ahead of the pace of change.
He has also done a lot of work in private equity where he led and conducted numerous pre/post-merger acquisitions and operational due diligence efforts.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Alberto worked for approximately 11 years at another management consulting firm where he was a key member in operations, and global lead of its warehousing and transportation work.
He is a native of Spain who is fluent in English, German, and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, running, golfing, cycling, and traveling around the world.
