Ankit is a leader in our Digital Practice and is at the forefront of our global customer and citizen experience work. Drawing on his experience serving clients globally, he advises public, private, and social sector organizations on topics including artificial intelligence, customer experience, and citizen-centricity. With a passion for building new businesses in the data and AI domains, he has helped establish data-driven research and analytics entities across EMEA and Asia.

Ankit is also a core leader of our Noble Intelligence initiative, helping multilaterals and not-for-profit organizations harness the power of data and AI to improve the lives of the most vulnerable populations and maximize their impact across the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Ankit’s recent client work includes the following:

  • leading citizen experience work for 20+ ministries, states, and cities across topics of municipal services, tourism, commerce, and other domains
  • leading the end-to-end experience design of new digital native businesses in the aviation, travel and leisure & entertainment ecosystems
  • establishing Disha, a global multi-stakeholder ‘AI for Good’ initiative delivering social impact through data and AI, in partnership with leading technology and humanitarian entities
  • building digital twins for smart cities to improve planning and outcomes for citizen services
  • designing and implementing data & analytics strategies for several federal ministries, state departments
  • developing digital and information technology strategies for global entities including government, retail and consumer goods

Before joining McKinsey, Ankit worked at several Fortune 500 companies in strategic and technical roles. He is a vocal advocate for putting citizens at the heart of public decision-making, and has led well-being, confidence, and resilience research with more than one million citizens across 30+ countries.
