A leader of McKinsey’s IT resiliency work, he is passionate about reducing systemic risk related to technology architecture, processes, and talent by bringing awareness to business leaders. He draws on more than 20 years of experience delivering technology, data, and analytical solutions in the industry.
Examples of Arun’s recent client work include the following:
- Helped a North American SaaS provider develop the strategy and road map for establishing a machine learning ops (MLOps) center to unlock growth and adoption of ML in a responsible manner
- Led a large-scale IT resiliency implementation at a financial services organization to reduce the volume of high-priority incidents by 60 percent in four months, and transform high-revenue customer journeys end-to-end, and institute operational process excellence
- Led a technology modernization effort for a large financial services organization, developing cloud migration strategies, and operating model transformation for both application data management (ADM) and infrastructure
- Helped a multiline insurer transform its infrastructure organization to enable better product innovation, accelerated delivery, and reduction of high-severity incidents
Prior to joining McKinsey, Arun served as an executive director with Morgan Stanley, focusing on analytics and data science. Outside of his work with McKinsey, Arun serves on the board of trustees of the Raritan Headwaters Association, a nonprofit conservation organization that works to protect clean water in New Jersey’s Raritan watershed area.
