Ben, a senior partner based in Sydney, is one of our global leaders in the People & Organizational Performance Practice. With a passion for enabling growth at the individual and organizational level, Ben brings deep expertise in designing and driving large-scale capability building and operating model improvement programs, alongside associated leadership development journeys. Ben works across industries and geographies to support board and top team effectiveness, culture transformation, talent and strategic workforce planning, and leadership development.
Ben coleads McKinsey’s change proposition globally, and also McKinsey Academy in Asia, overseeing the deployment of capability building programs to more than 200 organizations. These programs cover topics such as execution disciplines, leadership development, growth, and digital transformations. He is also the founder and lead partner of McKinsey’s Executive Leadership Program and Young Leaders Forum in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. The programs have been delivered to more than 2,500 people to help them build the critical capabilities required to lead and thrive.
As a New Zealander living in Australia, Ben is passionate about increasing the connections between both countries. He specializes in working with companies with operations on both sides of the Tasman Sea. Every year, Ben leads McKinsey’s support of the Australia and New Zealand Leadership Forum, a program designed to strengthen these relationships and create a seamless business environment between both countries.
