Bruno is an expert in energy transition, leading our global initiatives on energy retail and new downstream and our Sustainability Practice in Iberia. In this capacity, he has served multiple clients in Europe, Latin America, North America, and the Middle East developing their decarbonization portfolios and value proposition. He has also supported clients in building new businesses in the energy space and developed programs to accelerate value capture.

Examples of Bruno’s recent client work include the following:

  • building from scratch a new business in the energy services space, including contracting key providers, defining and implementing a commercial playbook, articulating and executing operational strategy, and exploring potential financing solutions
  • designing a commercial transformation program for a large European energy services company, including defining the portfolio of energy services for development, the program’s governance model, the program’s management office and tracking tools and implementing key initiatives
  • implementing a large-scale, cross-country commercial excellence program for a European utility, covering issues such as digital, product, and service offering; customer lifetime management; and needs-based segmentation
  • leading an opex and capex optimization transformation for a European-based energy developer and portfolio company of a global private equity fund
  • developing a value creation plan for an energy equipment distribution company and portfolio company of a leading European private equity fund
  • developing an energy mobility strategy for the portfolio company of a leading European infrastructure fund

Alongside his client work, Bruno is a mentor to scholarship students at the Catholic University of Portugal. He is a native speaker of Portuguese and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
