Dan leads our sustainable finance sector in the Americas. In this role, he works with banks, insurers, asset managers, investors, and public finance agencies to build financing businesses in the context of the climate transition, understand climate risks, track and improve climate and environmental impacts, and create public disclosures.
In addition to his work on sustainable finance, Dan also serves commercial clients and public-sector entities to improve operational performance and better deliver service to customers.
Previously, Dan cofounded our customer experience and design group in financial services, which serves clients seeking to improve customer delivery while using those improvements to drive enhanced financial results. Dan has deep expertise in B2B customer experience.
Prior to that, Dan led our public finance group, which serves public financial agencies and state-owned enterprises on mission delivery and performance improvement.
Since joining McKinsey in 2002, Dan has worked across numerous industries and sectors, developing expertise in how organizations can improve results through strategic, operational, digital, and organizational improvements. He has particular experience in sustainability, housing, financial services, education, and customer-experience topics.
Beyond his work at McKinsey, Dan is a founding board member of Foster America, a national not-for-profit that serves at-risk youth and child-welfare agencies.
