Danielle is a global coleader for McKinsey’s Travel, Logistics & Infrastructure Practice. She has deep knowledge of the travel, logistics, consumer, and retail industries, including strategy, M&A, business building, digital and commercial topics, and operational transformations. She also brings an extensive and nuanced understanding of the opportunities to provide better consumer experiences and branding in each of these sectors.
Danielle previously led McKinsey’s consumer private-equity work and Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail Practices for the northeastern United States, advising consumer goods, retail, and consumer-focused private-equity clients on transformations, growth strategies, strategic transactions, and integrations, and a range of marketing topics.
Examples of Danielle’s client engagements include the following:
- developing and executing long-term transformation and growth strategies for multiple travel, retail, and consumer organizations, including supporting the reinvention of value proposition and offerings, optimizing pricing and promotions, and helping build digital, omnichannel, marketing, and personalization capabilities
- leading multiple efforts with at-scale, as well as smaller, high-growth B2C, direct to consumer (D2C), and consumer companies, focusing on end-to-end strategy, innovation, M&A, marketing, channel, and organizational efforts
- leading significant efforts supporting several consumer-focused private-equity groups across the investment process, from due diligence and post-deal planning to long-term portfolio company transformations and exit
Outside of her client work, Danielle leads pro bono support for several renowned charitable organizations including the Robin Hood Foundation and the American Ballet Theater Company.
