As a leader in McKinsey's Healthcare and Strategy & Corporate Finance Practices, Emily advises healthcare clients on topics related to enterprise strategy and growth, as well as M&A—with a focus on joint ventures and partnerships. 

Examples of Emily's recent client work include the following:

  • supporting a regional payer on large-scale M&A, including defining the strategic vision for partnership, business case, organization and operating model, and negotiation strategy
  • supporting a payer on pre-diligence for a potential deal, including a detailed performance assessment of the target and development of a strategic and financial case for partnership  
  • helping a regional payer define its corporate strategy, including functional and business unit strategies to optimize the core and approach to expand into new value pools
  • leading an effort to define the strategy for a multipayer partnership focused on transforming the way members receive and experience healthcare 

Emily is also passionate about supporting, advancing, and sponsoring women. She is a leader of McKinsey’s diversity and inclusion efforts in the Stamford office. She also cosponsors the firm's recruiting efforts at Cornell University.
