François Soubien works in the manufacturing and packaged-goods sectors, advising clients on the development and implementation of supply-chain strategies and innovative operating models, and on how to manage large-scale transformation programs.

Francois Soubien is a partner at McKinsey’s Paris office. He works mainly with clients in the aerospace, automotive, electronics, process-industry, and packaged-goods sectors.

As a specialist in global supply-chain transformation, François has led over 50 major projects that have had significant operating impact. He advises clients on the development and implementation of supply-chain strategies, innovative operating models, and the management of major transformation programs.

Francois has spent his entire career in management consulting. Before moving to McKinsey, he was a partner at PwC, working in the Strategy & Operations Group. He joined PwC in 2011 when it acquired PRTM Management Consultants, an international firm that specialized in the development and implementation of operating strategies and of which François was CEO. For eight years in the two firms he was involved in the global support of many major industrial groups, dealing with both strategic and operating problems. He also provided disposal and acquisition advice to private-equity funds.

Francois Soubien started his career in 1997 at Manugistics, a software company that focused on supply-chain improvement solutions. In 2000 he moved to PEA Consulting, a member of the Areva group, and worked there for six years in its supply-chain practice, being elected senior partner in 2004.

As a recognized expert in supply-chain challenges, François has published many articles and has contributed to global research projects on supply-chain trends and operating-performance benchmarks. He is a regular speaker at major interprofessional and intersector congresses.
