Hauke is a partner in our Nairobi office. He focuses on supporting organizations as they navigate and shape the transition to a zero-carbon economy. He serves investors and banks, governments and NGOs, mobility and industrial players, and sectoral and cross-sector net-zero coalitions across the globe with his expertise on climate and sustainability topics.
Examples of his recent client work include the following:
- helping a multi-lateral bank to embed climate intelligence into its lending processes and align its financing activities with a Paris pathway
- supporting a Western European country in developing its climate action plan
- designing a methodology for a grid operator to embed cutting-edge climate forecasts into a natural hazard risk assessment
- developing a CCS and hydrogen strategy for an independent oil company
In addition to his client work, Hauke often leads major research programs within McKinsey, such as developing an integrated decarbonization pathway for the European Union and assessing its socio-economic implications. He regularly speaks at climate conferences and industry events.
