Based in our Hamburg office, Heiko leads general and administrative (G&A) function transformations across multiple industry sectors. His experience focuses on transforming functions including finance, HR, shared services, and corporate centers.

Heiko is one of our global leaders in the firm’s corporate and business functions work and drives our work on the ‘corporate center of the future’.

Examples of Heiko’s recent work include the following:

  • defining the future strategy for the HR department and redesigning the operating model for the function
  • leading an efficiency program of an industrial engineering company reducing costs by approximately 40 percent through reorganization, streamlining of processes, and fundamentally reducing demand in corporate and business functions
  • driving the European transformation of an industrial packaging company in all corporate and business functions, reducing cost by 35 percent without losing any top-line effect
  • leading benchmarking diagnosis and reorganization of the HR function of a German chemicals company on a global basis—applying a shared service center and competence center concept, including detailed process description
  • shaping the global transformation of the finance function of a leading energy company by defining the detailed organizational design, setting up new finance processes, and preparing and running the implementation
  • conducting an organizational diagnosis of the HR function of a leading telecom, defining the target organizational setup, and developing the implementation plan for the re-organization
  • redesigning the HR function of a major energy company introducing new organizational setup, including European shared service center
  • performing organizational diagnostic and benchmarking of corporate and business functions of more than 100 companies across the world with approximately 30 percent in a private-equity environment
