Himanshu is a partner in McKinsey’s New York office and leads the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice in the United States. He works with technology companies to help them accelerate their growth priorities.
Some of his recent client work includes the following:
- Go to market (GTM) design – led the GTM org design and operation model for a global cloud public and private solutions provider, designing key GTM shifts to unlock growth
- Banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) vertical acceleration – developed the sales acceleration program for a digital specialist for building a BFSI vertical
- Large deals acceleration – helped design a growth program to maximize the win rate for a large tech provider across 5 industry verticals, helping build distinctive industry propositions
- Lead generation – worked with a client to create a lead generation program for an IT services player; designed the overall 'theme-based' large deals origination strategy across 10+ focus industries
- Digital growth strategy – developed the overall corporate growth strategy for a tech services player focused on a key service offering, markets, accounts, GTM plan, and 3-year investment roadmap
Himanshu speaks regularly on the topics of strategy, growth, and value creation at various conferences and forums, and also cohosts McKinsey’s annual roundtable for Tech Services CXOs.
