Jason leads McKinsey’s agile work for the Transformation Practice in Asia and for the Telecommunications Practice globally. He implements agile transformations at scale for large global organizations, often as a driver for fully harnessing the power of digital technology to rethink every aspect of the business.
Against a backdrop of accelerating developments in technology and customer preferences, Jason works with executives to transform how they operate. Becoming an agile organization allows a company to increase speed of execution, improve productivity, and engage and empower employees to bring the best of themselves to work—unleashing the company’s full potential.
To support transformation, Jason also has experience in taking on interim executive roles. By leading financially distressed or challenged companies through end-to-end restructuring programs, he helps improve both performance and health. In particular, he has expertise in driving corporate turnarounds and portfolio restructuring.
Before joining McKinsey, Jason gained 15 years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications sector. He has held top executive roles in both smaller mature markets and large emerging economies.
Examples of his recent client work include the following:
- helping a leading telecommunications operator in a mature market transform its executive performance, which translated into cash-flow, market-share, and organizational-health improvements
- leading a high-speed agile transformation, including developing new “chapters and tribes,” with the entirety of a 5,000-person New Zealand telecommunications company
- driving an Australian telecommunications company’s agile transformation, refocusing on digital, e-care, and e-sales and designing new ways of working that enhanced customer experience
Fluent in English and Portuguese, Jason has completed executive-leadership programs in both Latin America and Portugal.
