Julie pushes for the organizational design that will unlock strategic potential. Working with executives, she reshapes fundamental operating models and fine-tunes governance approaches. She brings passion and expertise to the pursuit of digital transformation, charting the path to a more agile organization.
Drawing on longstanding experience with financial institutions and insurance companies, Julie leads our digital organization work and is a leader in our Financial Services and People & Organizational Performance Practices globally. When faced with exciting digital opportunities, she works with leaders to foster the core traits of successful digital companies: experimentation and collaboration. She defines practical steps to change roles, responsibilities, management practices, and employee behavior.
Julie recently designed a transformation program for a US financial institution, working closely with the CEO, head of HR, and business-unit leaders to identify organizational health challenges and develop a broad-based change effort. She also helped a financial institution develop a new mass-market strategy centered on a direct-to-consumer digital offering.
Julie first joined McKinsey in 2000 as a business analyst and returned in 2005 as a senior associate. Committed to making a difference in the community, she leads our New York office’s partnership with the Robin Hood foundation. In 2015, she was selected as a David Rockefeller Fellow, joining a group of twenty senior executives for a yearlong business and civic leadership program.
