Kabir is a Senior Partner in McKinsey’s Technology, Media and Telecom Practice, focusing on growth strategies, sales and marketing, and digital innovation. He is an AI scientist by training and is serving both AI solution providers and companies using AI to drive transformative growth.
His front line experience includes redesigning go-to-market from the ground up using modern tools, new business building, digital marketing, customer support and success, e-commerce, pay models, innovation “war rooms,” capability building, and increasing subscription and retention with advanced analytics.
Kabir also advises global sports organizations and their business partners on growth initiatives such as innovation, pricing, and sponsorship sales, player development, and in-venue experience.
As a leader of McKinsey's work in the connected-consumer field (home, vehicle, wearables), he has advised some of the largest technology and service companies on strategy, technical platforms, pricing, and go-to-market execution.
Kabir serves on the board of trustees of the BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) and was a founding member of the Black Equity Organization, a non-profit in the UK.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Kabir founded two start-ups, one in consumer medical-product e-commerce and the other in digital video messaging. He has also previously worked at Accenture’s Innovation Center, Bell Labs and as a professional DJ.
