Larry advises financial institutions on advanced analytics, data transformations, and scaling of digital and analytics capabilities. In addition, he helps them to develop strategies for risk and fraud analytics and achieve insight-driven product and customer growth. His recent work includes helping clients improve their advanced-analytics programs, launch digital banks and data businesses, and create centralized analytics environments.
In one example, Larry supported a leading North American retail bank to transform its advanced analytics and agile marketing program to dramatically improve retention and loyalty, including identifying addressable deposit retention opportunities in excess of $20 billion, developing more than 800 unique microsegments to target, and reducing typical marketing execution timelines by more than 60 percent.
Other examples of his recent client work include the following:
- helping a North American institution find $150 million in annual savings with a multimodal infrastructure platform that improved business alignment and partnership, and also facilitated greater agility, better demand management, and continuous modernization
- working with a regional bank to reduce fraud losses by more than a third by identifying model, operations, and policy and controls interventions
- working with a global financial-transaction processor to develop and launch a centralized analytics environment, enabling near-real-time analytics to support fraud, risk, and customer analytics needs
