Marco is the managing partner for McKinsey’s Mediterranean office and chairs the McKinsey Global Institute Council. He is also one of the leaders of the firm's Risk & Resilience Practice globally and McKinsey's Transformation Practice in Europe.

Marco advises European financial and industrial institutions on a broad range of topics, including business strategy, transformations, risk management, sustainability, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on big data and advanced analytics.

In 2021, as part of the G20 under the Italian Presidency, Marco participated in the B20 Business Summit and supported the Action Council on Sustainability & Global Emergencies.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Marco was a lecturer at Italy’s University of Calabria on the subject of financial instruments.
