Mhoire is a member of McKinsey’s Healthcare Practice, where she coleads our workforce excellence capability area. She works with a range of healthcare organizations—including both hospitals and services providers—on growth strategy and workforce excellence topics. She is passionate about the caregiver experience and helping healthcare organizations and their workforces evolve in the face of a rapidly changing environment.
Mhoire’s recent experiences include leading a comprehensive provider workforce planning effort focused on improving a health system’s forecasting accuracy, recruiting effectiveness, and career pathway development; designing and deploying a health system-wide workforce strategy focused on improving nursing retention; developing and implementing a large transformation program for a healthcare services provider to optimize effectiveness and efficiency; and leading a corporate strategy effort and supporting targeted growth and innovation initiatives for a healthcare services provider.
During graduate school, Mhoire worked for the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City supporting special projects for the Executive Offices. Currently, she serves on the board of directors of Engineering World Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare delivery in the developing world.
