Ray leads our Life Sciences sector in Japan and he is also the Head of QuantumBlack Japan.  He advises global and domestic pharmaceutical and medical-device companies on a variety of topics including digital transformation.

In the last few years, he has helped multiple pharmaceutical and medical-device companies transform their customer engagement model using advanced analytics including application of Machine Learning techniques.  In addition, he has helped companies transform their business and operations and achieve substantial improvement on growth and profitability.

Ray is based in Japan but works with companies across the globe.  He has accumulated broad and deep knowledge of the global healthcare industry, where he worked for nine years in the United States and Asia before joining McKinsey. Together with his multicultural background, this experience makes Ray an effective, integrative counselor to CEOs and senior executives in the healthcare industry across the globe.
