Roshan leads McKinsey’s work on digital payments in the United States, through which he serves leading incumbents and disruptors across the entire payments value chain. His clients include infrastructure providers, card issuers, payment networks, payment service providers, data and info service providers, fraud and identity companies, and retailers and marketplaces.
Roshan also co-leads McKinsey’s work serving private equity investors on payment topics, including market assessments, commercial diligence, and portfolio value creation.
Examples of Roshan’s recent work include:
- reshaping a global information service provider through inorganic actions to scale across higher-growth SaaS verticals
- advising a technology-focused private equity firm on portfolio diligence and turnaround of an underperforming portfolio company
- designing two innovative credit card products for a regional credit card issuer, including product construction, rewards, journeys, and economics
- achieving value from a pricing transformation for a market-leading installment lending provider
Beyond client service, Roshan co-hosts McKinsey’s podcast series, Talking Banking Matters, specifically hosting a subsegment focused on leaders in payments, where he interviews CxOs of the fastest-growing disruptors in the industry.
