Seth is a partner in McKinsey’s Ohio office, based in Columbus. He works with energy and materials companies to achieve transformational change and operational improvements. Seth helps leading industrial organizations meet the challenge of digitizing operations, competing across global supply chains, and addressing general margin pressure experienced through increasing material and labor costs. Seth leads the firm’s chemicals and agriculture procurement efforts in North America.
Some of his recent client work includes the following:
- delivering full-potential diagnostic assessment for global chemicals company; supporting exhaustive implementation efforts to capture value, upskill workforce, and sustain future impact
- leading pre- and post-merger synergy identification and capture for two global packaging companies; supporting successful global and regional sourcing efforts to realize savings potential
- developing comprehensive risk management approach to mitigate price and inflation risk of key precious metals catalyst used in manufacturing process for global agriculture company
Additionally, Seth is passionate about driving sustainable, inclusive growth in Ohio. He has led numerous pro bono efforts for Columbus-based not for profits on topics such as equity and inclusion, strategic growth, and housing and homelessness.
In his spare time, Seth enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and traveling with his partner and their daughter. He is also a big sports fan and an avid supporter of Ohio State University's athletics.
