Stefan is a partner with the McKinsey Digital Practice and also works within our advanced analytics division. He coleads the global capital-markets infrastructure sector. He joined McKinsey with an engineering background and loves to combine technology and financial services to unlock new products and capture efficiencies for market participants. He has served clients in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.
Some of his recent work includes the following:
- creating a next-generation technology strategy for a global infrastructure group
- defining the IT-platform strategy for a leading securities services provider
- helping grow a “unicorn” new asset class start-up to global scale
Prior to joining McKinsey, Stefan was working at an engineering research lab. He spends his free time with his three children and loves skiing and BBQing.
