In pursuit of this mission, he focuses on advising pharma innovators on accelerating performance, with a particular emphasis on research and development excellence. His expertise spans preclinical and clinical development, asset and portfolio strategies, and pioneering approaches that harness analytics, technology, AI, and machine learning to optimize the entire R&D value chain.
Beyond R&D, Stephan has a proven track record in creating value at the intersection of R&D, commercial, and medical domains, including market access and launch strategies.
A molecular biologist by training, Stephan’s academic journey included research roles at the University of Vienna, the German Cancer Research Center, and Heidelberg University, where he earned his PhD.
