Tasuku is a leader of McKinsey’s Healthcare and Public Sector Practices in Japan and Asia. He primarily serves pharmaceutical and medical-technology companies, as well as companies, conglomerates, and investors in adjacent sectors, in the areas of strategic alliance and joint-venture negotiations and management.
Tasuku also serves various government agencies in Japan and leads numerous initiatives related to economic growth and social-system sustainability for Japan. He has been invited to various international conferences to speak on these topics.
Beyond Tasuku’s corporate-finance work, his recent projects include developing emerging-market strategies, R&D strategies, and organizational transformation. He frequently counsels client-leadership teams about the development and execution of globalization strategies across industries. He has also led multiple operational-transformation projects, including lean-manufacturing implementation and supply-chain-management redesign.
