Sahil leads McKinsey’s Operations Practice in Japan and is passionate about helping companies build high performing end-to-end supply chains through analytics and digital technologies. He primarily serves global clients in the consumer-packaged-goods sector on a broad range of topics across operations.
His core expertise is in manufacturing and supply-chain management. Most recently, he has helped his clients optimize their global manufacturing footprints, shift toward autonomous planning, and redesign their supply-chain operating model.
Other examples of his work include the following:
- helping a global consumer-packaged-goods company improve end-to-end operations, which yielded a more than five percent net cost-of-goods sold improvement and stabilize supply to mitigate approximately $800 million risk to revenue
- transforming manufacturing operations for a global food and agriculture company and reducing cost by $400 million
- building a digital supply-chain strategy for a global beverage company to capture global cost synergies of $300 million
With a strong focus on capturing sustainable value through operations, Sahil works closely with management and the frontline to drive change across the organization.
