Helps consumer-packaged-goods companies drive improvements in performance across complex supply chains by leveraging analytics and digital technologies

Sahil leads McKinsey’s Operations Practice in Japan and is passionate about helping companies build high performing end-to-end supply chains through analytics and digital technologies. He primarily serves global clients in the consumer-packaged-goods sector on a broad range of topics across operations.

His core expertise is in manufacturing and supply-chain management. Most recently, he has helped his clients optimize their global manufacturing footprints, shift toward autonomous planning, and redesign their supply-chain operating model.

Other examples of his work include the following:

  • helping a global consumer-packaged-goods company improve end-to-end operations, which yielded a more than five percent net cost-of-goods sold improvement and stabilize supply to mitigate approximately $800 million risk to revenue
  • transforming manufacturing operations for a global food and agriculture company and reducing cost by $400 million
  • building a digital supply-chain strategy for a global beverage company to capture global cost synergies of $300 million

With a strong focus on capturing sustainable value through operations, Sahil works closely with management and the frontline to drive change across the organization.

Apart from his client work, he is passionate about helping develop people and building the firm’s capabilities in operations.
