Tamara focuses on healthcare for vulnerable populations, including provider and payer strategy, value-based healthcare models, and public health. She serves academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, payers, not-for-profit foundations, and public-sector systems. She is also a practicing pediatrician and adolescent-medicine specialist at a children’s hospital. Her academic work has focused on social determinants of health, including food-insecurity prevalence and screening among adolescent and young-adult populations.
Tamara completed her residency in pediatrics in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, and adolescent-medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the Greater Boston Food Bank’s board of directors and Health and Research Council.
